The Urban Matters Lab has organized a fieldtrip for an upcoming day-long workshop at Indiana Landmarks on documenting Black heritage sites. The workshop is at Indiana Landmarks office in Indy on Feb 7, 9am-3pm. Registration is free and lunch is included.
This can be a great opportunity for faculty, staff, students in the John Martinson Honors College to have some hands-on training and hear from, and network with community members and professionals in the state. As you can see from the program, a range of state and federal level agencies will be represented at the event.
We have organized a Purdue van for this event and have 4 more spots available in the van. If any of you or your students would like to join us in the van, please email me at krish191 at purdue.edu . We will be leaving at 7:30am-ish from HCRS on Feb 7.
